COVID-19 Response

Service Alert
Damage to I-40 bridge impacting freight.

Expect shipping delays and price fluctuations.

The bridge on I-40 connecting Arkansas and Tennessee, and a major freight lane, was shut down last week due to a crack discovered in the center span. Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) estimates the bridge will be closed for 8 weeks before a temporary fix can be put in place.

Approximately 12,000 freight trucks travel over the bridge daily causing significant delays and a spike in prices in the area due to limited equipment capacity in shipments that utilize this route. If you are shipping through this area, please expect delays.

A Message From the Founder:

As everyone is well aware, we are experiencing a global pandemic and have to navigate our business accordingly. We know that you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your door, however the health and safety of our RLD community is of our highest priority.

Per Hillsborough County and City Of Tampa ordinances, faces masks are no longer mandatory by clients visiting our workshops.  However, as a precaution if we can't social distance, masks will be worn.  Our employees are wearing face masks or social distancing also.

Due to limited supply of quality building materials, our current lead time is 8 weeks (RUSH orders are 4 weeks) and all Freight Shipping is experiencing longer than normal delays as well.  Freight carriers are currently rejecting one in every four loads tendered under contract terms.  Backlogs continue to hamper some parts of the country due to weather, COVID-19 impacts, and capacity constraints.

Thank you for your continued support and patience.
